There is something romantic and sexy about messy looking loose curls. This picture of a woman who could be ready to walk down the isle or to embark on a formal evening event, shows how to look elegant and romantically sexy at the same time.

Her hair has been curled into spirals and then fixed into place using bobby pins with the back left cascading down. An important part of this look is to leave out a section of hair on one side that gently twists into place.

This look would be wonderful for a bride looking for a fun hairstyle, a teen looking for a hip prom updo, or anyone searching for that not-so-perfectly-in-place do.

This beautiful bridal updo hairstyle would look lovely for an old fashioned wedding. The use of tiny baby's breath flowers dot the hair that is intertwined with embroidered ribbon.  Hair is pulled up and secured in a bun-like fashion at the back of the head. The ribbon is wound into the hair as it is twisted into place.

This bride has dark blonde hair with lighter shades of highlights that blend perfectly with the pretty white ribbon used here. Darker hair colors would look equally as elegant as they would contrast with these hair accessories to show them off  even more. This delicate bridal updo is a nice alternative to the traditional wedding hairstyle with veil.

Jennifer Lopez (jlo) is seen here at an event that took place at the F.Y.E store in the Brox N.Y. to celebrate the release of her first Spanish album. The event took place on 3/28/2007 and she appears to be very happy as she waves to her fans. She is wearing some great designer sunglasses that look perfect with her skin tone. Her accessories, though may seem excessive to some, are all the rage with celebrities these days. Many of them are seen with several bangels, like the ones she has, and large hoop earrings.

Jennifer is wearing her long thick hair in a beautiful wavy hairstyle. Her bangs are pulled straight back along with the sides of her hair into a ponytail that sits high on her head. The back is left down to show off the look of abundance that her hair has along with the big spiral like curls. Here is another picture of this hairstyle to show the back view.

Jennifer Aniston sedu hairstyles are still popular today. Her hair is naturally fine and fairly straight so it straightens easily with a large round brush and blow dryer. Her style is easy to copy and here's how.

Divide wet hair into sections and starting with the underneath layers, blow dry hair in a downward motion starting at the roots and ending at the tips. When all layers are dry, run a tourmaline ceramic flat iron over sections to get that sleek, straight, shiny appearance. Once again using sections, run iron over sections taking care not to take too much hair and start at the roots. Keeping the iron moving, run it down the hair shaft. Practice first with the tool off until you get the hang of it.

When choosing a flat iron, do not skimp on quality. Heat tools like these can be very damaging and quality hair straighteners like those made with tourmaline offer the best hair protection. They give off the highest concentration of ions that give hair its ultra shiny look and healthy appearance. Anything that subjects hair to heat can be potentially damaging, so be sure to use them on completely dry hair and use thermal protectant products.

To get Jennifer's great sedu look, finish with a shine spray. Use sparingly as these products can make hair look greasy if too much is used.

The factors involved in hair loss are:

  • heredity
  • hormones
  • aging

Much research has been conducted on the possible causes for this frustrating condition. Scientists have yet to determine the exact cause for hair loss.

One theory is that the body's immune system mistakes the hair follicles for foreign matter and then attacks them.

Male pattern baldness is common in men. There is a hereditary predisposion to this disorder and is influenced by androgens which are male hormones. According to research, hair follicles that are suseptible to AGA (androgenetic alopecia) may have receptors that are programmed to shut off hair production with the influence of androgens.

Many men choose to try medications that are suppose to treat hair loss such as Rogaine (minoxidil) or Lontein (minoxidil). Sometimes a dermatologist who specializes in treating men with this condition will combine Retin A with these medications with the hope that it will exfoliate the scalp and allow the drugs to penetrate deeper into the scalp. As with any medication there is risk of side effects so one must do some investigation into this.

Women can experience the same type of hair loss, but it is usually not as severe and tends to occur mostly after menopause. Unfortunately, most women experience some loss of hair as they grow older. Women can have temporary hair loss due to hormonal changes such as with pregnancy.

Other possible causes include:

  • poor circulation
  • acute illness
  • radiation
  • surgery
  • weight loss
  • high fever
  • thyroid disease see this post
  • iron deficiency
  • diabetes
  • drugs
  • poor diet
  • fungal infections
  • chemicals from hair dye
  • vitamin deficiencies

A healthy well balanced diet is important in maintaining hair health.
