The event here is "Big Men" special Los Angeles screening on March 26th 2014. He is an executive producer of this film which tells the story of a group of American explorers at a Dallas based oil company.
He is sporting black rimmed glasses with a vintage flair. Something similar to a 1950's look.

This 48 year old actress is sporting a no style 1970's hairstyle as she kicks off "SJP – The New Collection by Sarah Jessica Parker" at Nordstrom's in Chicago.
She has an off center part and no bangs. Each each side hangs down in a relatively straight fashion but toward the ends, the layers split off in different directions.
