Here is a picture of a 1950s couple as they leave the church after their wedding taken in a vintage car. This is classic 50s all the way. This shows the very a very conservative time period when it comes to style.

The groom is very clean cut with his hair cut above the ears and no side burns. The top is a little longer and greased up and over for a typical men's hairstyle for this time period.

The bride is wearing her hair in a traditional pixie cut with very short bangs and wavy locks. The wavy look for women is carried over from the 1930s and 1940s. She is wearing a crown-like bridal hairpiece which was typical back then. Also, notice the pearls which was very common for formal occasions.

They look like a very happy all american couple on their vintage 1950s wedding day.

This bride is wearing a beautiful jeweled headband for her wedding hairpiece. Hair accessories, especially headbands, are big this season. So, while you are planning for your big day hairstyle, consider wearing one of these beauties.

This young lady has long locks which she has had styled into a partially straight and partially wavy style. The top has been back combed to produce height while the look of long length has been preserved by pulling the strands back into a low ponytail. The top layers have been combed smooth while the long tresses have been curled with a large barrel curling iron for a romantic edge. Her bangs are pushed to the side to finish the look.

This is a wonderful vintage look for an old fashioned wedding.

A messy look updo has a romantic edge that would be appropriate for many occasions from weddings to just every day life. This picture shows how the sides of the hair are pulled back while being twisted into rows. The pieces are secured with bobby pins leaving the ends to pop out in different directions.

Updos like this one can be perfect for going to work, shopping, or a special evening out. Men will say that is there is something sexy about a woman's neck and wearing hair pulled up is a great way to show that off.

It is easier to work with hair that is not freshly washed when it comes to pulling hair up. It is good to start with back combing to get a good foundation to start with. You will need several bobby pins for this hairstyle.

This guy's hair is cut short above the ears on the sides and the top is left longer to spike up. The top can be brushed forward for a different twist on the look.

His hair is also cut shorter on the sides and the top is left longer to arrange in a messy spikey-do. Here the sides are brushed forward for a fun men's hairstyle.

This gentleman has the comb over version of this style but he is certainly not experiencing thinning hair. Sideburns complete his look.

Tara Reid

Event: 14th Annual Race to Erase MS

Tara Reid looks beautiful here with her long blonde hair that she has pulled back into a low ponytail. Her hair is parted off center and a generous amount is left out to brush over her shoulders. Her stylist has added some spiral-like loose waves to the front and the back. See the next picture for a view of the back of her sexy hairstyle.

This hairdo looks hot with her backless dress. Her dress matches her beautiful blue eyes.

Tara shows us that it is possible to work with a pesky cowlick that she appears to have along her hairline. It seems to fit right in with her long wavy hairstyle.
