We love to follow the many beautiful hairstyles of Carrie Underwood since she won the fourth season of American Idol. Her pretty golden blonde highlighted hair seems to have grown longer and fuller since winning Idol. She has so many looks and this updo is a perfect formal style for anyone looking for a great hairstyle to be worn up.

Carrie is said to be using clip in hair extensions to make her hair more versatile. Hair extensions are a great way to add length and fullness quickly and easily. The are wonderful for adding fullness to updos as well.

Scarlett Johansson is seen here with a very simple yet elegant hairstyle and a pretty barrette to hold back one side. Her look would be perfect for anyone looking for a great easy style for an occasion such as prom or a special date. This is a nice alternative to the typical updo and for a gal looking for a hairstyle to be worn down that would still look fancy enough for a special event. Scarlett's hair and make-up are simple yet beautiful and show off her nice eyes and smile.

Scarlett is an actress who became known after her role in the movie "The Horse Whisperer." This picture of her was taken at The Louis Vuitton LOVE Party for Oxfam America that she hosted on May 3, 2007. The event took place at the Louis Vuitton Store in New York City.

To get her look for yourself, start with straight hair that would be accomplished by blow-drying hair using a large round brush. Use some straightening balm if necessary on damp hair and blow-dry in a downward motion. Touch up with a flat iron if need be. Part hair on one side and pull bangs over and clip with a pretty barrette on the opposite side. Hair accessories can really dress up a look.

Now here is some real retro hair band style. Kimberley Stewart is seen here sporting very long straight blonde hair that is tied back using a blue scarf as a headband. Very Short Hairstyle for Women

Here is a super easy very short hairstyle for women on the go. This style would be appropriate for a career minded gal, sports minded active person, or anyone looking for a haircut that would be simple to maintain and style. This would be considered a cropped cut and it is layered to give it texture and interest. The bangs are really short and textured as well.

To style this cut, start with a little styling creme applied to damp hair. Using a round brush, lift hair at the roots and concentrate heat from a blow-dryer there and then finish with a blast of cold air to set. Use a brush to smooth over the top layer.
