Here is a pretty curly updo for a beautiful bride. A jeweled headband with veil attached at the back gives a princess effect. She is wearing two strands of pearls as a choker which looks lovely with her strapless gown.

Paris Hilton with her long blonde hair is shown here with it pulled up into a partial updo. The front and sides, including bangs, are brought back and secured at the middle of the back of the head. This style still shows off her long loose waves. The top has been given some height with some back combing of the underneath layers.

Lisa Rinna

Lisa Rinna is always beautiful with her classic shag hairstyle. Her short layered locks burst with volume and give Lisa her sassy and sexy style. She proves that you don't need to change hairstyles every time the wind blows to be a smash hit with fashion.

This classy lady has kept with the same short 'do for quite some time. The shag hairstyle has been around for decades and became popular in the 70s with TV personalities like Carol Brady of "The Brady Bunch." Lisa's modern version of this retro hairstyle is up to date and full of pizzazz.

If you are considering a short layered hairstyle, then you may want to take this fun style into consideration.

This hairstyle by Mandy Moore could have stepped right out of 1970 something. The feathered back effect that was popularized by Farrah Fawcett during the 70s is showing up on many celebrities. The center part with bangs brushed to the sides at about eye level is part of the package. What a great retro hairdo for medium to long hair.

The way this style was achieved back in the day was to use a brush to twirl the hair back while blow-drying and then a curling iron was used to touch up. Now days, we have large round brushes to help with this. A good cut is the best place to start. Graduated lengths around the front are what is needed.

Mandy is a pop singer and actress. The above photo of her was taken at MTV's TRL taping on June 19 2007.

The picture below is of someone else with a similar style, read on to find out more.

This picture was taken in 1978 and shows the close similarities of these two hairstyles. This vintage picture is not the best quality but you can get the idea.

Beth Chamberlin has a nice medium length hairstyle that shows off soft curls with a simple yet feminine elegance. This bangless look shows off a center part for her light blonde hair. The 70's are the inspiration for this style.
