If you are a guy with fine hair and would like to be able to sport the ever so popular fohawk, then you will probably need to cut your hair very short on the sides and fairly short on top. This picture here shows a great men's fohawk for thin hair. The front top strands are a little longer than the rest so they can come to a point out over the forehead. It is gradually shorter toward the back. Who says guys with thin hair can't be trendy and up to date.

Fohawks are becoming increasing popular for girls and women just as we see here a picture of a woman at a rodeo of all places. Hey, if you can get away with a hairdo like this at an event that is typically known for being "red neck," then this style must be pretty well accepted. The nice thing about going the faux route is the versatility. This trendy hairstyle is easily transformed into something else if one is in the mood for something else.
A short haircut is in order for this look to work. It also works best with thicker and coarser hair. Some firm hold hair gel is all that is needed to push the top strands up and to a point at the top. For an even stiffer look and better hold, eggwhites work well.

Now here is some 1970's charm. Take a look at those clothes and that hair? Teenagers wore swabbies for jeans. They came in colors from blue jean to white to grey cords. Decorative patches were often sewn onto the back pockets or anywhere for that matter.
There's that typical 70's no style hairstyle. It was parted in the middle and straight. This picture is from about 1973 or so.

Sometimes the youngest of celebrities have the cutest hairstyles and here we see Sammi Hanratty sporting a great haircut and style for a pre-teen or teenage girl. Sammi has mid-length hair that is bang-less and is curled on the ends for a sweet look for any occasion. Teen idol Chad Michael Murray has great hair and this picture of him shows off his spiky furry looking head. His hair is short and nicely shaped with some blonde highlights added around his face. The spikes are random and head off in different directions.
This young man is a well known actor who has played in such movies as Freaky Friday, A Cinderella Story, and House of Wax.
