Here's an unusual hairstyle for a woman with short hair and one that is sure to turn a few heads. This is one interpretation of a fohawk that would be easy to copy. The sides are sleek and straight and parted very deliberately with the center strands standing straight up along with the bangs. The ends are slightly bending under to add interest. This style requires a great deal of firm holding hairspray. A faux hawk is a mohawk without shaving the sides of the head.

If you are looking for pictures of typical 80's hairstyles and clothes for boys and men, then check this out. This young man is sporting the popular bi-level haircut for that decade. Allowing the hair to do its natural thing if it was wavy was the thing to do. The sides were usually shorter above the ears and the back was longer at about shoulder level or it could have been even longer. Bangs were part of the style back then. Athletic jackets with stripes down the sleeves were hot. Here is another picture to help you with your search for information.

This second photo shows the bi-level even better. Gold chains were still in vogue and layering shirts was cool. Acid wash jeans were it. Pretty cute guy we have here.
