Heidi Montag has great long and loose waves. A side part with long bangs that are swept to the side and curled back give this hairstyle a hint of retro with an almost feathered appearance. There is some real definition of curl with sections showing separation which can be accomplished with defining hair products. Curl enhancing shampoo and condtioner along with a blow-dryer with diffuser attached are great helper tools for this style. Using fingers to scruch while drying is one way to copy this 'do. Heidi looks wonderful as a bleach blonde.

If you are looking for a great up to date men's hairstyle that would be perfect for just about any occasion, then check this one out. This would work well for someone with fine to medium hair and straight to slightly wavy. The bangs are cut longer and styled up and back off of the forehead in a series of waves. The sides are cut shorter above the ears and brushed back. A little hair product will help to hold the style. This would be great for a business man or anyone who likes to look well put together and works well for someone who wears glasses. The 5 o'clock shadow adds to a bit of a disheveled appearance.

Wow, here is an example of what might have been crazy back in the 60's. What a tall head of hair! This woman's hairstyle has the height of a beehive. Her dark hair is ratted and hairsprayed into a style that is tall enough to look like a top hat. The sides are short and cut at about mid-ear to show her dangle earrings. Her bangs are cut short. What a look! The cat wearing the cat-eye sunglasses is a nice touch as well.

If you love to live life on the edge and to be on the cutting edge of crazy, then this hairstyle may be for you. This is a short straight style that is blunt cut around the bottom for fullness and comes down just below the ear. This is asymmetrical with one side being smooth and the other being pinned up and ratted to look like a nest. This one could be cut so that it could be worn this way or all brushed down neat and tidy. The background color is medium brown and there are bleach blonde chunks of highlighting. The choice of eyeshadow here adds to the drama of this look and is sure to turn a few heads but not for the faint at heart.

This photograph is straight out of the 70's and to be more specific: 1976. This hairstyle looks amazingly similar to those we see today with the long soft waves. Back in this decade, a middle part without bangs was typical. The early part of this era showed more straight styles, but waves began to make an appearance and usually were accomplished with hot rollers. Here we see how the strands are smooth down to about ear level and then the bends begin. This could be very fashonable by today's standards.
