Aimee Teegarden is one popular teenager from Friday Nights Lights and here she is sporting a partial ponytail. This photo of Aimee was taken at "Prom Night" World Premiere in Hollywood on April 9th 2008. This girl has a fresh youthful glow about her. Her long hair with bangs that are cut straight across and is sprinkled with golden highlights that are worked in nicely with her dark blonde color. The locks are pulled back into a low ponytail which can be secured with a barrette but the underneath layers are left to hang down the back. A few fringes are left out around the face for softness. The top is very smooth while the lower section has little twists and bends which add texture. The contrasting colors add depth. She is wearing a cute black party dress with wide bright pink sash around the waist.

This picture is from about 1973 and shows a pre-teen 12 year old girl in her 6th grade school photo. During this time period, which was early 70s, the hairstyle trend was that of no style basically. This look would work much better on someone with thicker hair rather than one with thin fine hair as above. A middle part with no bangs was very popular and taking a section on each side and tucking that behind the ears to allow the rest to fall right along side the face was right in style. We had no flat irons back then so the strands were just left to be a bit messy. Teenage girls did not wear much make up back then especially those in grade school or junior high (middle school). Right around the mid to late 70s, feathered hair became popular and this trend was popularized by Farrah Fawcett of Charlies Angels.

Michelle Williams looks classy here in her little black dress and shiny sleek sedu with side swept bangs. Her shoulder length locks come down in graduated lengths and have a bit of a choppy look. Her side part with bangs brushed over the edge of the eye adds a sultry appeal. A few lighter highlights catch the light and add some dimension. A relaxer treatment from a reputable professional salon can make the task of straightening much easier. With this done, blow drying with a large round brush with air directed in a downward motion my be all that is needed to style. A flat iron to touch up helps to get the super straight ends.

This picture of Michelle was taken at an event at the Apple Store in Chicago where she performed and signed autographs on June 28, 2008.

Here's a rocker girl holding a guitar and shorting a short razor cut that boasts a choppy appearance. This edgy hairdo gets its funk from the random lengths and the texture change from full and ratted on top to flat iron straight on the ends. The wide streak of rust red across the top and in contrast to the medium brown hair color also adds to the crazy charm.

Here is a cute wedding couple holding a pair of doves which is the sign of love and what a great symbol for this photo. The bride is wearing a traditional updo with veil attached under her round curls. She has a vintage inspired strapless gown. These two are wearing shades of white for a more monochrome look.
