Hayden Panettiere is looking all grown up with this classy yet sexy updo that shouts formal yet fun. She looks very poised and mature here black and sequins as she poses for a photo at Declare Yourself's "Domino Effect" Hollywood Party at The Green Door on September 24th. This would be a great look for any special or evening event and is nothing more than a knot that is assembled low at the back of the neck with chin length bangs that are parted in the middle and left out to be curled into relaxed spirals that frame the face.

60s Big Bouffant Flip

Here is a great example of the classic 60s bouffant flip hairstyle.

This one has huge volume with lots of back combing to create a big hump. The ends flip up to add a sassy edge to this 'do. She has a full bang and the length is ear level well up off of the shoulder. This woman is also sporting some great fashion ideas from this time like a cropped blouse and straight legged pants that hit above the ankle.

This is a vintage 1960's black and white photo of a young woman bowling and it shows her great form and with one arm up in the air after she releases the ball down the alley. Her bowling shoes and outfit are classic.

A new celebrity icon on the fashion scene is Sarah Palin. Her hairstyles and designer glasses are sought after by many women around the country.

Her rimless eyeglasses are by designer Kazuo Kawasaki and they are creating quite a stir. This pair has rectangular lenses and black temple frame.

Her updo is simple and she generally creates lift on top which can be done with back combing and hairspray and then smoothing over the top layer. The back is gathered up and can be secured with an alligator clip with the ends left to spring up and do what they do. Her copper highlights add depth and dimension.
