Cheryl has fine hair that she usually wears at shoulder length. Here she has curls and glamour at the 6th Annual Hollywood Style Awards.
This is a more formal look for her compared to some of her more casual styles. She has side swept bangs and curls that can be achieved using a medium barrel curling iron held vertically. This lady is fun to watch on Dancing with the Stars and she shows us that women with fine hair can look great too.
Fun colors and styles were a way of life back then:
A bright pink baseball cap with a curly ponytail, an orange tee shirt, striped socks, tennis shoes, long black and white striped gloves, and lots of colorful plastic jewelry make up this look.

This is very funny and what is really humorous is that fashions just keep cycling around. These are some cool styles:
Mom and dad look like typical parents but check out the teenagers. The girl has long hair that is parted in the middle and is wavy toward the bottom. Her glasses are narrow and wide with dark frames and she is wearing swabbies (sailor pants). These pants wear all the rage back then in blue or white and had buttons all the way up the front. They had patch style pockets on the front and back and flair legs. The boys had long bangs that were brushed forward and sometimes to the side. Take a look at the woman at the top of the stairs with her red pants and psychedelic tunic top. Woman's hand bags were an after thought, as they were not much of a priority then as far a fashion statement.

Back in the day when men were back from WWII, a date with a girl might have been a simple picnic.
A drive out to country, a blanket spread on the ground, a thermos, dishes, and lunch food make up a lovely warm afternoon outing. The young lady poses for the camera while sitting on the edge of the blanket with their transportation in the background, which happens to be a vintage car. The woman is wearing her hair pulled back and held there with a bow. She has very short bangs that are curled under and she is wearing glasses. Her white blouse has full baby doll sleeves with ruffles and eyelet around the collar and scoop neck. She is wearing shorts with a high waist.
