Paris Hilton Big Bun

Here is a great example of the back side (view) of a big bun updo to help you with your styling or to be able to show your hairdresser what you want.

Lots of bobby pins help to hold the pieces in place. Unwashed hair works best as it stays in place better for an updo. A ponytail is placed at the top of the crown and the strands are puffed up and under and secured. She has long blonde hair with which to make this style happen. Anne Hathaway Glasses Updo

Looking for a nice easy updo to wear with glasses? Check out Anne Hathaway at "Rio" Los Angeles Premiere.

She has large rectangular shaped rims and the fringe of bangs left out to hang near her face softens the effect. She has medium brown hair with honey blonde highlights. A simple ponytail is her choice here.

Mya Super Long Ponytail

Super long and very straight describes Mya's simple ponytail here at her Exclusive Concert at Haze Nightclub in Las Vegas on April 9, 2011.

She has a middle part that separates the two side which are slicked back close to the scalp. The ponytail sits low at the back of the head. This is an easy look for prom, a party, or any other special event. Her dark olive skin compliments her pink dress. Her very big hoop earrings are a statement and focal point.

Eva Longoria Feathered Back Style

This is not a true feathered cut but by using big spirals that curl toward the back you can simulate this retro hairstyle.

She has a middle part with long bangs for a no bang look. A large barrel curling iron held vertically and directing toward the back helps to get a look like this. Her dark brown color is softened with warm highlights placed close to her face. The event is LA Plaza De Cultura y Artes Inaugural Gala.
