This teenage boy is quite the heart throb if you ask a teen girl. Jansen Panettiere is Hayden's younger brother and he is retro ready with his full and wavy hairstyle with bangs that just brush over the eyebrows. The back comes down to the collar and the sides spring out with random tufts. His medium brown locks have hints of highlights which look great against his olive complexion and he is in the process of straightening his teeth with braces for the perfect smile. With all the interest in retro hairstyles from past decades, the feathered look from the 70s is still sought after and here is a good example in this graduation picture from 1977. This teen girl has medium brown long hair that is curled back around the front from the bangs down to the ends. This was generally accomplished with a curling iron held vertically and curling sections toward the back after blowing drying. There have been many celebrity woman who have opted for this look and here is a modern example.

What an awesome picture picture straight from 1976.
Back in the day, boys wore their hair much longer than their fathers would have liked. This picture is from the 70s, probably about 1976 and shows a man standing next to his two sons who are sporting long locks down past their ears and bangs. One guy has an embroidered jean shirt and since styles seem to keep rolling back around, I wonder if we will start seeing these again; and it is tucked in. We already see the younger generations copying the hairstyle on the left which has bangs and a length to the shoulders. Feathered was the way to be.

This young woman looks like she has had a summer full of fun with her beachy waves that are very soft and loose curls that start at about chin level and can be accomplished with the use of a large barrel curling iron held vertically. The sections of very dry locks are wound around several times. Make sure to set the temperature at the right level for your hair type so as to not cause too much damage.
