If you funky hair is your passion, then you've got to check out this choppy haircut. This young man looks as though he likes to keep things interesting as it shows in his choice of color and style. This is a chunky spiky look with texture that is usually accomplished with razor cuts. Wispy bangs and random lengths along with some asymmetry are the ticket here.
Oh my, a retro 40s glamour guy here in this photograph taken in about 1940 is standing in front of a vintage car sporting a dark pin stripe suit and wingtip shoes in black and white. His hair is slicked back with a side part. Men of this era typically wore their locks a little longer but neatly combed back so the ears and forehead would show. He is complete with pipe in teeth and certainly ready for a night out on the town.

Hippies were well known in the 60s and 70s. They were usually those in the younger generation (teens and 20 something year olds) who wanted to set themselves apart from the conservative folks. They did this by growing their hair long and often in a no-style fashion. Usually hair was parted in the middle and bang-less. During this time period, long side burns were the thing for men. Headbands were popular and served to keep the sweat out of the eyes, but actually they were merely a fashion statement. Aviator sunglasses along with tie-dye including bright colors finish off the look.

Now, here's a stylish new wave hairstyle for men. Long bangs brushed forward and to one side is a retro look that gets its roots from the 60s. The sides are cut short above the ears with some longer strands near the face and then the back comes down to the bottom of the neck. This bi-level style is and 80s look big time.
