These little cuties are sporting a happy version of a couple of Halloween favorites.
These are fairly easy costumes for girls. One is a happy witch and the other is a smiling red devil. The devil's horns could be made from a plastic headband and the witches hat is easy enough to find.

This is a great vintage photograph showing a grandmother with grandchildren standing in the yard wearing their Sunday best.
The grade school age boys have short hair with a side part. The bangs are combed up and back in a slicked fashion. Generally speaking, boys of this time period usually wore their hair short on the sides and longer on top just to be able to style it in this way. This little girl has a sunbonnet on to protect her facial skin from the sun. Back then suntans were not fashionable for girls or women and they knew to protect themselves from the damaging rays. The girl is wearing a small cross necklace as it looks like this group is ready for church. Grandma has a simple updo popular of this time. Here is a close up of the kids.

Here is a great example of a 1920's bob hairstyle. This young girl has short bangs cut straight across with sides cut short as well.
She is wearing a short jumpsuit that is flapper style with rows of feather-like fringe and ballet slippers. She is probably going to be in performing in some sort of production of that time and this is a pre-event photo of her standing out in the yard.

This is a sweet look for a boy. This photo was taken in the 1940's and is a great example of a typical haircut for that time period.
There is a deep side part with the bangs combed up and back. The use of grease and Vaseline were common to achieve the greased up look. This little guy is sitting in a chair wearing short outfit that buttons up the front with collar.
