Angled bobs are very popular right now and work will for those women with medium to fine texture hair. There is some fullness at the crown which can be created with a little root lifter sprayed onto damp hair prior to blow-drying. It is important to concentrate the product near the base of the shaft near the scalp. Use a round or paddle brush and direct air in a downward motion. Touch up with a flat iron to get that sleek and straight look but make sure hair is completely dry first. Here is a great example of a typical 1940s hairstyle. The young woman is wearing a partial updo which features victory rolls on the sides.
