If you are looking for ideas on how to wear your hair with the stylish cadet type caps, take a look here. This woman above has short brown locks that she has styled in an easy wavy design that is easy to create with a diffuser and finger scrunching while drying. A little styling cream would be helpful. The sides are left to cover the ears which is an up to date look. This hat is quite different with brown and black geometric patterns.
Scarves are very popular this season and it's hip to be bold and bright. This woman is wearing her scarf wrapped around her head and neck. What an easy way to look great even when there is no time to style the hair. Just a bit of the bang is showing as it is tucked under this accessory. Just open it out and drape over the top making sure to not secure it too tightly as it wraps around and then tucks in back.

Hats are a fun accessory that can add an element of whimsy to an outfit. Trendy this season is a cap that is a cross between a tam and a baseball hat like what the girl in this picture is wearing. This one is a pretty pink color that is complementary to her brown sweater. It is made of a corduroy material which gives it some texture. She is wearing her hair in an updo here as it is all tucked up to show off this great addition. This style of cap comes in all sorts of colors and materials and seems to be very popular right now.

Here is a great example of a typical 1940s hairstyle. The young woman is wearing a partial updo which features victory rolls on the sides. She uses an original looking accessory on top that resembles a crown of some kind. Her long dark hair cascades over her shoulders for a very feminine look. Her fair complexion and dark red lips are typical from this post war era and this photograph was taken just after WWII. That is my father in the picture with her.
