This is a beautiful updo for a bride, for prom, or any formal event. It's got a bit of a messy edge with a not so perfect look. The back is pinned up in such a way as to create a spiral curl mane in the back. The front has strands of hair pulled out to hang at each side of face in loose soft curls.

This bride is lovely with her wide bead covered headband and veil. The headband helps to give the appearance of a style with hair pulled up. The bangs are straightened with a flat iron and they are brushed to the side. The top is curled and back combed to add height at the crown. Styling hair product gives the strands some separation.

There are rows that are twisted as they pull up and back and are secured with covered bobby pins before they are brought together in a ponytail high on the crown.
