The 1950's were a time of "Happy Days" when many would argue that life was much simpler. This is an original vintage graduation photo of a girl with a typical hairstyle of this era.
This senior picture has the Class of 59 emblem on it! She has short blonde hair that is curled into a sweet conservative style that has a side part and the bangs are pulled over to the side with a small curl on the end of them. Women of this time period often slept with rollers and or used bobby pins to make the strands do what they wanted while the locks were still wet the night before. Make up was not real common for teenagers as we can see that she has a very natural all American look. She is not even wearing mascara.
