If you are looking for an up to date trendy 60-ish bouffant hairstyle, then you need to check out Jessica Simpson's cool updo with ponytail. The top and back portion is back-combed (otherwise known as ratted) to give the height that is necessary when trying to accomplish a 1960s look. This trend is so hot right now and Jessica wears it well as she is seen here in this photograph of her taken at the Operation Smile 25th Anniversary event on October 10th 2007.
Her ponytail is pulled back and secured low at the base of her neck with a piece of hair used to fasten it. The top layer of hair has been smoothed after the back combing.
