Paris Hilton seems to be constantly dashing from one event to another and she certainly has plenty of hairstyles in her wardrobe for each one. In this picture of her she is wearing her hair in a long sedu hairstyle with her hair pulled back in a low ponytail. Her long ponytail looks elegant gracing her bare shoulders. She is often seen wearing headbands whether it be a wide headband with an updo or as seen here with a narrow headband placed high on the crown of her head. Hair accessories such as headbands are hot right now so why not try one for yourself at your next formal event or school dance like prom.
Paris is extremely fashion conscious and she certainly does not seem bashful when it comes to trying out the unexpected. Her royal blue dress matches her bright blue eyes and her eye-makeup is anything but subtle. She has chosen a bright red handbag and patton leather is all the rage right now. Rather than choosing a handbag to match the color of her dress, she chose one at the opposite side of the color wheel for that wow factor. This look is a head-turner. So, if you are daring enough, why not give this Paris Hilton style a whirl?
To get her hairstyle for yourself, try these tips. Start with a straightening balm if your hair is not naturally straight. Using a large round brush, blow-dry hair in a downward motion. Pull hair up at the roots and focus heat there for a little added lift then finish with a blast of cold air to set the style. If needed, run a flat iron over dry hair and this will add addtional shine. A tourmaline flat iron is great for the release of ions to contribute to extra shine and healthy looking hair. Backcomb the hair on the back of the head and then smooth over the top layer with a brush. Part the front of the hair and pull hair back to secure in a ponytail low on the back of the head. Top off with a headband placed high on the crown of the head to match your dress. Finish with a touch of hairspray.
When choosing a headband consider the color of your hair. Do you want a great deal of contrast or a more subtle blended look? There are wide and narrow headbands as well as some with jewels or sparkles. Some headbands are stretchy and some are firm. Some go around the head in a complete circle and some come in a half circle. The stretchy ones seem to be bit more comfortable and may stay on better as well.
It is always a good idea to have a trial run with your hairstyle well before your big event. Who wants to find out that a hairstyle is a bomb on the night of their prom?
