What a cute idea this is for a flower girl or for communion. This little miss has her long locks styled in a straight fashion with a simple middle part and there is a lovely hair piece placed on one side to match her dress. This would be an easy care look that would be kid friendly.

Weddings are in full bloom for summer, and here is a picture of a flower girl with a loose updo and lovely white petals pinned on one side of her head. This little gal has naturally curly hair which is gently pulled up and secured in an old fashioned way. She has brown hair that is in nice contrast to her dress and flowers. This look would be beautiful for communion as well.

What a cute idea for a young girl's hairstyle for a special event such as a wedding or holiday party. This little lady has long light brown spiral curls that cascade down her back and look pretty with ribbons of two different colors intertwined through the strands. Hair is pulled up into a partial updo here. This would be perfect for a flower girl.

80s Wedding Hair and Fashion

Here is a great example of a 1980s wedding showing the hair and fashion of that time. The bride is in white, the bridesmaids are in a light purple, the flower girl is in a lavender, and the groomsmen are all in light gray tuxes. This was early in the decade and bi-level hairstyles were popular for both men and women. Poodle perms were also all the rage. If you had naturally curly hair, you were in luck, otherwise, you had to make a trip to the salon for a perm.
