Adriana Fonseca has a beautiful formal edge to a casual loose wave hairstyle that is long and lovely. She has medium brown locks with streaks of copper and light brown highlights that add oodles of depth to what otherwise could be a boring hair color. She has pulled back a section of her mane from the top and pulled it back to be secured at the back of the crown with bobby pins or a fashion clip. This opens things up so we can see her pretty features such as her eyes and especially her lashes which is a trend for fall which will be less emphasis on the shadow and so forth. She is wearing a halter dress with shiny silver fringe on the plunging neckline. Her suntan skin is really highlighted here. Adriana is a Mexican actress and to copy her style would be easy with a diffuser, some curl enhancing product, and scrunching while drying with the fingers.

Lindsay Lohan is all about edgy fashion as she is seen here with her bold and bright shirt dress, vintage men's style top hat, and long loose waves. Her eye liner and lashes show up distinctly as opposed to the shadow which will be a new look for fall and is also a retro old look. She is sporting pale lipstick. Here we have a young woman with an example of early 1960s hair, sweater, skirt, and shoes. This gal is standing out on an old country dirt road with her arms folded just like a teenager would do if she was not into whatever was going on here. She is wearing a white blouse that is tucked into a full skirt that comes around the waist and is very puffy. It looks like she is wearing some kind of slip that might had fullness as well. Her shoes are simple slip-ons and are flats. Her hair is cut in a fashion that would be consistent with the decade prior, but she has plenty of lift on top from back-combing and that is definitely a sign that the 60s were in full swing with the bouffant.

If you are looking for the latest in men's hairstyles and like to be hip and with it, you might want to check out the rock band look by OneRepublic. These band members all have an edgy look of their own with haircuts ranging from short to long. We can see lots of texture and wave here with four of the guys wearing their locks cut above the ear with top being left longer and fuller. One dude likes to stand out in the crowd with long and kinky curly. There is something for everybody here. You can get a few ideas on modern fashion here as well. This young lady is sporting a big hairstyle and fun orange dress with a wide white belt complete with shiny heels. Here is a funny 70s picture of a pre-teen sporting a typical hairstyle for that time as well as an example of some of the fashions for that time. A long granny style skirt that looks like a bedspread and the top looks like something from the 1800's with puffy short sleeves and gathered round neck. Obviously shoes were an after thought as blue and red tennis shoes are hardly appropriate but comfortable. This 12 year old's hair is long and straight and parted on the side with a clip holding the bangs over to the side. Using clips was very popular in the early 1970s to hold the hair out of the eyes as no-style hairstyles were cool during this time. Notice the furnishings like the television on the right (that had no remote as children were the channel changers) and the early American decor. The carpet and curtains were a brownish gold color.

If you are looking to wear your hair down in a straight fashion for Prom, you should check out this cute style. The length is about three inches past the shoulders and this is a layered hairstyle. The long bangs are pushed to the side while the posterior portion is parted toward the middle. The color is different shades of blonde which adds depth. To get this great style, try using a large round brush with the air from the blow-dryer directed in a downward motion. When the locks are completely dry, a flat iron can be used to touch up and close the cuticle to get that extra shine and smooth appearance.

As the 80's passed to the end of that decade and turned toward the 90's, the big hair was still alive but it changed just a little bit. The classic 1980s puffy top 'do was about to be put to rest, but the fluff was not yet dead. The gradual transition from top heavy to bottom heavy was taking shape. This picture of a bunch of girlfriends from that era (pic was taken around 1989) shows a variety of hairstyles, but they have one thing in common: curly locks. It looks like there are a couple of examples of mall bangs here like the gal on the upper left and right. A popular early 90's look was the spiral perm bob as seen on the woman in the front row and right of center.

What a great example of a typical 60's family and their hairstyles and clothing. This picture was taken along side a pool in the backyard and shows a mom with her short softly curled hairdo with the top being ratted for the bouffant effect, the dad with his flat top crew cut and heavy rimmed sunglasses, and the kid with her typical pixie cut that was done by her mother and very chopped up.

Christian Siriano is one to follow for cutting edge fashion and his very modern and trendy hairstyle is no exception. He is sporting a very choppy bang that is full and combed forward. It has a razor cut appearance with random lengths. A flat iron works well to get this super straight look. The sides are cut short above the ears with the back being longer down to the collar. The top is smoothed flat while the back has a spiky edge. If you are looking for a hot new men's hairstyle, then this one is certainly worth checking out.
