Natasha Bedingfield is full of style here with her partial updo sedu hairstyle and side swept bangs. Hair is parted from ear to ear across the top of her head and then pulled back and secured with cover bobby pins behind the ears. The top has a bit of height that can accomplished with a little back combing. A deep side part with bangs brushed over her eye gives a flirty appeal. Her golden blonde mane is medium length. Her dangle earrings can be easily seen. This would be a cute look for any special occasion. This picture is from about 1973 and shows a pre-teen 12 year old girl in her 6th grade school photo. During this time period, which was early 70s, the hairstyle trend was that of no style basically. This look would work much better on someone with thicker hair rather than one with thin fine hair as above. A middle part with no bangs was very popular and taking a section on each side and tucking that behind the ears to allow the rest to fall right along side the face was right in style. We had no flat irons back then so the strands were just left to be a bit messy. Teenage girls did not wear much make up back then especially those in grade school or junior high (middle school). Right around the mid to late 70s, feathered hair became popular and this trend was popularized by Farrah Fawcett of Charlies Angels.

Christian Siriano is all smiles in this picture of him taken at the "Sex and The City: The Movie" New York City Premiere and we love his unique and trendy hairstyle that is all his own. This cut is a bit shorter than we have seen him with in the past but he still has that trademark asymmetrical textured bang that we have grown to love. The fact that the sides are short above the ears with the back being long down to the collar is reminiscent of 80s bi-level hair. I guess one could call this style sedu for men as he does flat iron his locks to get them so straight.

Long and shaggy bangs are the ticket with this young man's hairstyle. Hair is brushed forward from the back to form a heavy bang that is very textured and styled in a side swept fashion. He has dark locks with a large spot of bleach blonde color right in the front. The sides are cut just below the ears. This is a very trendy up to date look that gets its root from the 60s.
