Here is a great example of a bride and her bridesmaids from the 1970s. Back then women did a lot of sewing to save money and each of these girls sewed their own dresses after the bride sprung for the fabric which is a powder blue color with multi colored daisies. The flowers are yellow along with the ribbons and each girl in the wedding party is also sporting one flower in the hair except for the bride who is wearing a veil.
