Now here is some 80's style. This short hairstyle is actually a bi-level look that was so 1980's. Notice how her hair is cut above the ears on the sides and it is longer in the back. One side is larger than the other as well. I guess bi-level hairstyles were not only for men, women had them too.

The 1980's were a time for dress for success. The "office attire" was big and women were promted to look professional to gain recognition at work. Sweaters with full sleeves and dress shirts worn underneath were considered stylish. Black pants were a staple in every woman's wardrobe.

The 80's fashions were all over the board along with hairstyles. There were the 80's hair-bands like Bon Jovi, Def Leppard, and many more. Rockers wore long poodle dos, punk rockers opted for crazy hair, and business professional's chose hairstyles like Princess Di.

The 80's were prosporous times and that was reflected in the hairstyles of that time as generally bigger was better. Even if you did not have enough hair to wear big hair, you found a way.

Here is another picture of a classic 80's bi-level hairstyle. Gotta dig the tee shirt tied into a knot and the colorful records splashed all over it.
